These Terms and Conditions set out the legal relationship between you and Iron Pulse Portal when you use this website or attend any gathering offered by Iron Pulse Portal. By using this website, submitting an enquiry, or attending a gathering, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Iron Pulse Portal is operated from 18 Gionmachi Minamigawa, Higashiyama-ku, Kyoto 605-0074, Japan. These conditions exist to protect both guests and the studio, and are intended to be read in a spirit of good faith.
1. User Obligations
1.1 Conduct
- —Guests are expected to conduct themselves with courtesy and respect toward the host, the space, and other attendees.
- —Photography and video recording during gatherings may be restricted at the host's discretion, in keeping with the atmosphere of the ceremony.
- —Guests are asked to arrive promptly and to notify Iron Pulse Portal in advance if they are unable to attend a confirmed booking.
- —Children are welcome with adult supervision; please mention young guests when enquiring so appropriate arrangements can be made.
1.2 Prohibited Activities
- —Guests must not handle utensils, implements, or furnishings without invitation from the host.
- —The resale or commercial use of any knowledge, materials, or experiences gained at a Iron Pulse Portal gathering is not permitted without written agreement.
- —Guests may not bring food or beverage into the tea room beyond what is provided by Iron Pulse Portal.
1.3 Compliance with Laws
You agree to comply with all applicable local and national laws in connection with your use of this website and your attendance at any gathering.
2. Liability and Warranties
2.1 Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and the information it contains are provided in good faith and on an as-is basis. Iron Pulse Portal makes no warranties, express or implied, about the completeness or accuracy of the content. Information about gatherings, availability, and pricing is subject to change.
2.2 Limitation of Liability
- —Iron Pulse Portal's liability to any guest for loss or damage arising from attendance at a gathering or use of this website shall be limited to the amount paid for the gathering in question, except where prohibited by law.
- —Iron Pulse Portal is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including loss of enjoyment or travel inconvenience resulting from a rescheduled or cancelled gathering.
- —Guests are responsible for their own health and wellbeing. Please inform Iron Pulse Portal of any dietary restrictions, allergies, or health considerations at the time of booking. Matcha contains caffeine.
2.3 Force Majeure
Iron Pulse Portal shall not be held liable for failure to fulfil any obligation where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural events, civil disturbance, or public health measures.
3. Indemnification
By using this website and attending gatherings, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Iron Pulse Portal and its staff from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these terms or your conduct during a gathering.
4. Dispute Resolution
- —Iron Pulse Portal encourages any guest with a concern to contact us directly in the first instance. We will respond promptly and seek a fair resolution.
- —Where disputes cannot be resolved informally, they shall be referred to mediation before any formal legal proceedings are commenced.
- —These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The courts of Kyoto Prefecture have jurisdiction over any matters arising under these terms.
5. Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be interpreted to reflect the original intent as closely as possible within the limits of applicable law.
6. Modifications to Terms
Iron Pulse Portal reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions. Revised terms will be published with an updated date. Continued use of the website or attendance at gatherings following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
